HONG KONG'S LEADING LUXURY
PROPERTY DEVELOPER
In the world of property development, National Properties Holdings Limited has distinguished itself as a leader and innovator in creating exclusive high-end residences, unique commercial buildings and boutique hotel apartments. From its inception in 1992, National Properties strove to fill a niche in Hong Kong's property market, creating the most luxurious and unique developments. The Company has worked with some of the world's top architects and designers, such as Andrée Putman, Robert A. M. Stern, Christian Liaigre, Antonio Citterio, Remo Riva and Joseph Fung.
Every National Properties building is characterised by certain hallmarks - spectacular views, a superior level of refinement and an elegant living environment. Materials are sourced globally and selected as much for their aesthetics as for their durability. Great care is taken in looking at the smallest details of each property, from the landscaping and lighting to the cornices and door handles.
Of the many luxury developments, the following six most characterise National Properties’ achievements.
37 DEEP WATER BAY
37 Deep Water Bay, called “The Dream House”, was built in 1998 and still remains one of Hong Kong's most expensive single house residences. Designed in the Neoclassical style, it incorporates soaring Corinthian columns, decorative cornices, crowning balustrades and elaborate ornamentation. There is a formal entrance and grand staircase, six spacious bedrooms, a sweeping dining room, two kitchens and games room, all decorated in antique French Oak floors, German timber-framed windows and handpicked European marble. The grounds include a 23-metre swimming pool with an inlaid Bisazza mosaic design and nautilus-shell fountains.
BLUEWATER
Bluewater, located in Tai Tam, is a low-density residence of gracious living on the south side of Hong Kong Island, offering generous proportions, ornate finishes, discreet privacy and simple elegance. Built in 1997, Bluewater made history as the most expensive residential building of its kind and the first with floor-to-ceiling picture windows in all principal rooms. The 25-metre infinity pool encrusted with Italian mosaics was also a first for a residential development. There are only 14 sumptuous flats, each with its own lift lobby. With over 10-foot ceilings, Bluewater enjoys stunning and unobstructed views of the South China Sea.
ONE ST. THOMAS
One St. Thomas, a grand luxury apartment building located in the heart of Toronto, Canada, is reminiscent of North America's epic structures of the pre-war era. Designed by Robert A. M. Stern, an internationally renowned architect and Dean of the Yale School of Architecture, One St. Thomas rises 29 stories and features a stepped, pointed tower. The canopied entrance and the elegant limed oak-paneled lobby lead to 12-foot ceiling apartments with exquisite wood flooring and functional fireplaces. The luxurious 8,000-square-foot bi-level penthouse suite commands 360 degree views of the city and Lake Ontario beyond. One St. Thomas offers hotel-trained concierge, doormen and parking valet as well as a European-style spa with an indoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi, fitness room and massage rooms among other amenities.
THE PUTMAN
National Properties expanded its expertise in creating unique and luxurious residential and commercial developments to the hospitality sector in 2007 with the opening of The Putman, designed by the world-renowned Andrée Putman. The Putman offers spacious boutique hotel apartments for discerning guests who are looking for assured comfort, space and style in a central location. The unique art deco-inspired multi-colour glass façade provides twenty-five full-floor suites with private dual-lift lobbies and three studio units. Each of the 1,300 square foot one-bedroom suites is complemented by proper living and dining facilities, a comfortable bedroom as well as a generous bathroom with separate bathtub and shower. Floor-to-ceiling windows run the length of the suite, allowing for a stunning view of the city and harbour beyond. On-site management provides daily housekeeping, porter, maintenance and concierge services. Being a short walk from both the financial buildings in Central to the restaurants and cafés in Soho makes this a perfect home away from home.
50 CONNAUGHT ROAD CENTRAL
50 Connaught Road Central, a luxury commercial property designed by preeminent architect Robert A.M. Stern is located in Hong Kong's most prominent business district and uniquely visible within one of the world's most celebrated skylines. Inspired by Manhattan's iconic historic skyscrapers, 50 Connaught Road Central offers inimitable prestige for its occupants, with its imposing façade clothed in European limestone and bronze finished detail, a celebrated harbour view and notable visibility from the Peak to Central and across Victoria Harbour in Hong Kong. 50 Connaught Road Central has obtained LEED certification.
THE JERVOIS
The Jervois is the third newly-built boutique hotel apartment by National Properties in Hong Kong. With custom interiors and furnishings by internationally renowned French designer Christian Liaigre, The Jervois represents the very best in design, luxury and comfort. The Jervois provides sophisticated accommodations at close proximity to Hong Kong's most frequented professional and leisure destinations. The Jervois offers 49 one- and two-bedroom suites (700 sq ft and 1,550 sq ft), each with its own private lift lobby. The top five penthouse levels consist of two-bedroom units with views of picturesque Victoria Harbour.
